We’re thrilled to announce that Future Ticketing has been shortlisted as a finalist at this year’s Football Business Awards in the category of Best Use of Technology in Football ⚽️
This recognition comes from our transformative work with the Royal Belgian Football Association (RBFA). Together, we reimagined RBFA’s ticketing and fan engagement ecosystem, creating a seamless, data-driven experience for supporters across all national teams.
With multiple engagement windows each year, RBFA wanted to strengthen loyalty, modernise operations, and simplify the ticket-buying journey. Future Ticketing delivered a fully integrated system connecting the mobile app, online ticketing, stadium access control, payment processing, email marketing, and single sign-on. All data flows directly into RBFA’s centralised data lake, providing a single, unified view of every supporter.
Through predictive analytics, RBFA can now personalise communications, promote high-value matches, and convert regular ticket buyers into members of the 1895 Official Belgian Fan Club or local fan clubs, deepening loyalty and boosting community engagement. The system also provides actionable insights into fan behaviour, attendance patterns, and engagement trends, enabling smarter, data-driven decisions.
The result is a fan-first, data-informed ecosystem that enhances matchday experiences, drives loyalty, and keeps operations efficient.
A huge thank you to the incredible Future Ticketing team and everyone who has supported us on this journey. This project demonstrates how technology and data can transform modern football fan engagement—and why FT continues to be recognised as a leader in innovation.
