The Halifax Show has renewed a multi-year contract with Future Ticketing, the cloud-based ticketing provider which has a growing number of partners across the UK.
The Halifax Show takes place on Saturday, August 12 next and the Halifax Agricultural Society said it has been very impressed with Future Ticketing’s digital offering.
Dianne Gill, Halifax Show treasurer, said Future Ticketing had been selected as the e-ticket provider after the society had examined alternatives.
“The Future Ticketing team is so easy to deal with and the system is easy to install and there is always help at hand,” said Ms Gill.
“The partnership benefits the society enormously. Our volunteer staff are not many in number and our partnership with Future Ticketing frees up staff because the system works so well it leaves them more time to build the Halifax Show.
“We are hoping and expecting that our attendance this year will be in the region of 10,000.”
Peter McNeile, UK and International Sales Director with Future Ticketing said the Halifax Show joins a growing portfolio of outdoor shows, with a number having been added over the past few months.

“The ability to sell tickets in advance and have access to revenue pre-event is a game changer for outdoor shows.
“Furthermore, some have come to us less than two months before their show date but have nonetheless managed to integrate our system in time to be selling their tickets in advance of their event.

That is why we have placed a focus on providing the most up to date online ticketing systems for these annual events and we are confident further shows will partner with us.”
The Halifax Show takes place at Savile Park and is the largest of its kind in the local region attracting people from not just Halifax but Huddersfield, Bradford, Calderdale and the rest of Yorkshire.
The partnership with Future Ticketing significantly eases the ticket purchasing process, both for advance and on-the-day sales and makes entry on show day more efficient.
Crucially, partnering with Future Ticketing enables show societies like Somerset Show, The Royal Balmoral Show or The National Ploughing Championships to take control of their ticketing by copying events year on year and providing an easy four step purchase journey for customers.
The detailed scanning real time information available to Future Ticketing partners enhances showground operational management, thereby improving the experience for organisers and showgoers alike.
