When Edenderry GAA set out to take their long-running bingo nights online, the goal wasn’t just to sell tickets digitally — it was to transform the entire experience for both organisers and players. Together with John Martin of Let’s Play Bingo and powered by Future Ticketing’s Willwego platform, they set out to modernise every aspect of the game.
The Challenge
The team faced several clear challenges:
Bingo had traditionally relied on manual processes — paper books, cash payments, and hand-written reports — all of which were time-consuming and prone to error. The ambition was to digitise the event without losing the fun and community feel that made it special.
“We wanted something that was easy for players but powerful behind the scenes. It had to be secure, automated, and give us proper oversight of everything.”
Ian Delamere, Edenderry GAA
The Solution
Working in partnership with John Martin from Let’s Play Bingo, the Future Ticketing team designed a tailored solution on the Willwego platform. The result was a complete digital system that delivered:
This solution empowered organisers with complete control over ticketing, reporting,
and data — all from a single, easy-to-use platform.
The Results
The impact was clear and immediate:
This project didn’t just digitise a local bingo game — it created a scalable model for clubs, fundraisers, and community groups across the country.
With Willwego Bingo, Edenderry GAA and Let’s Play Bingo have shown how tradition and technology can work hand in hand — making events smarter, easier, and more rewarding for everyone involved.
