The story of Connacht Rugby is one that dates back to 1885 when six small fledgling clubs met to form the Connacht Branch of the IRFU and with it the Connacht Senior Provincial Team. Their ambition was to grow the game of Rugby in Connacht and to provide a platform for our best talent to shine at provincial and ultimately international level.

Connacht Rugby is an organisation with a clear purpose to inspire their community through rugby success. They are one of four professional rugby teams in Ireland and are also responsible for administrating the game of rugby at grassroots level through the province.

In 2018 Connacht Rugby chose Future Ticketing as their new ticketing partner and since then the successful partnership has led to the record for the highest grossing game being beaten on three separate occasions in the first year.

In 2021 they renewed their contract with Future Ticketing for 5 years and continue to utilise all the functionality within the Future Ticketing system. Their journey to digital transformation has seen them take advantage of all the ticketing, ancillary sales, crm, reporting and analysis tools that you can access as a partner of Future Ticketing, deepening fan engagement and increasing sales and revenue.

In April 2022 they recorded a record attendance in their match again Leinster with over 95% of sales online.
