- NIFL Premiership club spells out benefits of teaming up with Future Ticketing
- Digital ticketing provider facilitates ticket sales, season passes and sponsorship
- Future Ticketing is key player in Bangor FC’s resurgence in top-flight football
Future Ticketing, the provider of cutting-edge online ticketing technology in the Northern Ireland Football League, is announcing a renewal of its partnership with Premiership club Bangor FC. Future Ticketing said Bangor FC has decided to continue this collaboration because of the all-round superior service provided by the ticketing company which goes far beyond facilitating the sale of tickets.
Thanks to the tailor-made Future Ticketing software, Bangor FC can offer instalment payment plans for its season tickets – including printed and personalised options – and season ticket holders in turn can avail of membership prices in the Bangor FC Social Club. Match day tickets are emailed to Seasiders fans who can store them in their Apple or Google Wallets and scanning the barcodes at the turnstiles has greatly improved ease of access to Clandeboyne Park while also lightening the workload for club administrators and volunteers by dramatically reducing cash transactions.
Jim Russell, Vice Chairman, Bangor FC, said the hands-on assistance of Future Ticketing was a key factor determining the club’s decision to renew the partnership.
“Since we partnered with Future Ticketing before 2024/2025 season we have been impressed by how closely the company has worked with us as we learned how to best use the many functions of the platform. We always have direct access to the Future Ticketing experts managing our ticketing system and club personnel, working in a volunteer capacity, know that queries will be addressed seven days a week if necessary. Because of this support, we have been able to familiarise ourselves with the system and this has helped empower the club on its planned path of future growth.”
Simon Stuart, Bangor FC, pointed to how Future Ticketing technology has enabled supporters to back the club in other ways.
“Our fans can visit the club website if they wish to sponsor match balls and individual player’s shirts, thereby providing a welcome boost to Bangor FC revenues. Furthermore, fans can buy multi-group tickets for the club’s hospitality facilities and once that purchase is completed online, the ticket holders have seamless access to seats, terraces and the social club.”
Gregory Walker, Client Success Manager, Future Ticketing, said: “Future Ticketing’s API-first software has enabled us to design a bespoke digital ticketing app for Bangor FC supporters with its built-in ticket wallet which fans use to save and access their tickets.
“With Future Ticketing technology powering the Bangor FC digital ticketing operation, the club has full control of its ticketing and bypasses the need for any third party platforms or apps. At the same time, this system ensures that Bangor FC’s unique identity and brand – which has seen the club rise all the way to top-flight football in recent years – is not only preserved but enhanced and strengthened every time a supporter makes a purchase.”
